Beauty Bible Loves... Wildsmith Skin Super Hydrating Overnight Mask

We love a product that does the heavy lifting while we sleep, and for the past few months, we’ve been reaching for this in place of a regular night moisturiser, to enhance our beauty sleep.

That’s not least because of the smell of Wildsmith Skin Super Hydrating Overnight Mask. Honestly, it smells of meadows, perhaps because chamomile features so high on the list of essential oils. (Others include juniper, jasmine, patchouli, angelica and frankincense.) We have visions of wafting through poppy-speckled fields, Timotei-ad-style, when we apply this. (Doesn’t need to be too lavish an application – it does the job with a ‘normal’ slather.)

The active ingredients in the mask itself, meanwhile, include grape extract, shea butter, sweet almond, coconut and moringa oils. By morning, the face looks rested, calm, plumped.

As readers will know, we are longstanding fans of Wildsmith Skin, and couldn’t be more delighted for them that the hotel in which the range has its roots – Heckfield Place, in Hampshire – recently topped Condé Nast’s Gold List of Best Hotels in the World. (You can read our review of the hotel’s Wildsmith Skin Spa, The Bothy, here.)

Lucky us: we can attest to the power of a good night’s sleep at Heckfield Place. But we can also attest to the beauty sleep-boosting effect of this mask, too.

Zzzzzz…
