Weleda Sensitive Body Lotion (and new eco-packaging)

Oh, my. Do we ALL need a moisture mega-dose right now, on our bodies. Central heating is really taking its toll, at this end of winter – that, and (did you know this?) the fact that clothes actually ‘wick’ moisture from our skins. So they may be keeping us warm, but all those protective layers aren’t helping our poor, parched bodies.

Enter a new fragrance-free Sensitive Body Lotion addition to Weleda’s much-loved bodycare line-up. It was, we’re told, ‘developed with dermatologists to deliver long-lasting but swiftly-absorbed, and bears the ECAFR allergy-friendly.’ So: no troublesome essential oils, but a formula rich in coconut oil, which lightly and naturally scents the skin. It is 76% organic and NATRUE-certified natural.

But wait, there’s more. The whole six-product Body Lotion line has been repackaged, the levels of organic ingredients upped and the formulas enriched, to boost their moisture-power. And Weleda – who’ve achieved B Corp status, for their sustainability policies actions – have re-packaged the body lotions in super-lightweight bottles made from widely recyclable plastic that you can just put out for your kerbside collection, made from recycled rPET.

Good for bodies, and good for our lovely planet.
