Seriously cocooning, the best way to describe it is that it feels rather like a cashmere wrap for skin, with a velvety, seriously indulgent texture that’s probably better for drier or more mature complexions needing extra nourishment, and it’s left our faces more more supple and beautifully glowy.

The technical bit? The hero ingredient, as ever with This Is Silk, is their unique SF‑VII® silk peptide, developed with a professor specialising in wound healing and cellular regeneration. Along with delicious lipids like olive fruit and jojoba oils, there’s hyaluronic acid – and a subtle waft of their signature fragrance, based around neroli, mandarin and juniper.
