Beauty Bible Loves... Temple Spa Life Defence SPF50

An excellent daily facial SPF (and finally, we REALLY need one!) just got better. Temple Spa are now offering a higher Sun Protection Factor โ 50 โ with their excellent Life Defence moisturiser.
Now, in reality, the differences between the protection factor of an SPF30 and SPF50 arenโt vast (the maths is complicated, illogical and really rather annoying). But we still always tend towards a 50; even a little bit of extra protection is a good thing, in our book.
The virtues of this: itโs not chalky, sinks in well, isnโt greasy but IS moisturising, and makes a great base for make-up (however much or little youโre wearing right now). It has optimum protection against ageing UVA rays โ and indoors, offers useful protection against the blue light from devices.
The tubeโs lightweight and slim, too: good for packing in a handbag or a tote, for sunny days. (Though you do carry a hat, donโt youโฆ? We always try to.
We also have to give a shout-out, here, for the utterly fantastic protective lip treat โ and it honestly is a treat โ in the same line-up, Temple Spa Lip Defence SPF30 Protecting Lip Balm. Ever so slightly peppermint-tingly, it genuinely feels nourishingly balm-like, super-comfortable; weโd wear it (over lipstick, under lipstick or on its own) for the comfort factor, never mind its protective powers.
In the case of both of them, SPF also stands for Sun Protection Fabulousness, we reckon.
