Beauty Bible Loves... Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
Note: you don’t need to have flown somewhere to enjoy this. We haven’t been on a plane for a-g-e-s, but this is a perfect end-of-summer quick fix to stop skin acquiring any dinginess, as we move towards a more indoorsy life. (Thank you, universe, for all the sunshine in summer 2025. We’d like to put in a requisition slip for the same next year, please.)
In fact, this is recommended for any time skin is stressed, knackered or dehydrated. Discovered when mooching through Space NK’s displays of ‘Try Me’ sizes, it’s packed with glycerine, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants. No need to slather too generously; a thin layer does the trick in just 10 minutes, before removing with a washcloth and warm water, leaving skin plumptious and calmed. Fuss-free. Fragrance-free. No bells and whistles, just a downright excellent skin-quencher.
This was actually Summer Fridays’ debut product, becoming a bit of a cult for the Californian, influencer-founded brand. But even knowing that, as s ever, when available, we went for the small size first. It’s become our modus operandi: millilitre for millilitre, these downsized products are always more expensive – but save so many expensive mistakes, when you discover that a product isn’t for you.
And that triggers a type of stress that even this mask won’t fix.
