Beauty Bible Loves... Studio 10 Glow-Plexion Plumping Blush
You know when you look in the mirror and think, ‘ooffff… need some help there.’ Let us tell you, despite doing all the stuff we prescribe (we are very much-do-as-we-do not do-as-we-say beauty editors), sometimes – as in when you’ve sent off a 68,000-word manuscript to your publisher – a little extra help is needed to tackle a tired, tired, face.
So, Studio 10 Glow-Plexion Plumping Blush happened to be sitting on Jo’s desk in a ‘To Try’ pile. Overdid it first time round, because the tiniest dot goes the longest way (though actually, smoothed over forehead as well as cheeks, it did create a really healthy look, albeit not one necessarily to be repeated). Best to dispense a dot onto the back of your hand and then smooth into cheeks – use fingers or a brush, works with both; it’s gleamy without being shimmery and works over foundation or on bare skin.
It's now a go-to summer blusher that instantly makes skin look healthier and glowier (but not sweaty). Demo-ed on Studio 10’s website by founder Grace Fodor (click here), you can watch her sweep it up the sides of the face to the temples (and Jo’s been adding a little touch along the top of her forehead, smoothed into the hairline there, too). We’re long-term fans of this range, created for grown-ups,
As the name suggests, it’s infused with plumping ingredients – skin LOVES this – and honestly, the formula’s so skin-caring that we’re tempted to add a touch to cheeks just before bedtime, to wake up looking radiant.
In this case, do-what-we-say is optional, though.
