Rouge Decorté Lipsticks

We love to alert you to fab new lipstick finds, and these are topping our pops, right now: a fully-formed collection of lipsticks just launched by Decorté as ‘Rouge Decorté’, as distinct from their existing Decorté lipsticks, spanning every finish and depth of colour a woman could wish for.

The five different finishes are Rouge Decorté Matte, Rouge Decorté High Gloss, Rouge Decorté Glow, Rouge Decorté Velvet and Rouge Decorté Satin. Of these, a couple have particularly taken our fancy and are making us feel rather glam (but not ‘overdone’), on a daily basis. As the party season approaches, we’ll probably be playing around with High Gloss and Velvet – but even the Matte lipsticks are lovely and comfy, not drying at all; all the formulations contain lip-conditioning ingredients (though mostly not natural, if that bothers you). Matte – but not TOO matte.

Meanwhile… we ADORE Rouge Decorté Shine, which is glossy and like slipping on a Slanket, it’s so darned comfortable, in a choice of six shades of which our particular favourite is Signature Red – an absolutely classic red of the first order. Instant glam, with brows and mascara. (Five other shades feature in the range.)

But possibly our fave of all is Rouge Decorté Glow, a sheer wash of super-moist, pigmented colour that makes lips feel incredibly comforted while looking super-healthy and nourished – a sort of ‘weekend’ lipstick, if you like, with a stunning selection of 18 shades spanning nudes via pinks to deep roses and reds. Our favourite here? Be Together, a perfect rose that enhances anyone’s natural lip colour without looking ‘done’.

Glam glossy black packaging further ramps up the lustworthiness. And all in all, eminently, glamorously smile-making.
