Truly a beauty classic, Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder is honestly one of the best powders on the planet. And while there’s been a fashion for dewy finishes lately, there really is nothing that makes foundation last longer on the skin than a whisk of face powder.

Available in eight shades (none particularly dark, but there is a Translucent), the packaging may not be the most glamorous – a simple plastic lid, no mirror. But what you do get is a super-fine powder that gives the most cashmere of finishes.

Just add a whisper, with your biggest, fluffiest brush. (And we haven’t tried it, but Rimmel tell us that it can be used with a sponge to press onto blemishes, to conceal them.)
