Beauty Bible Loves... Rhug Wild Beauty Hand & Nail Cream

Oooh, we’ve been waiting for this! At last, a Hand Cream from Rhug Wild Beauty, who’ve done so well in our Beauty Bible Awards over the past couple of years, and of whom we’re BIG fans round these parts.

Here’s what we like…

The texture. Er, always the most important thing with a hand cream, of course. But this has the perfect level of richness, yet is instantly – and we mean instantly – absorbed. No flapping of the hands in the air required, and it crucially passes our ‘Loo Door Test’, whereby we can turn a round door handle inside a loo immediately after application, rather than being trapped while our hand cream sinks in. (IT HAS HAPPENED.)

The fact that this exemplary formula features ingredients foraged on the Rhug Estate. To wit, lemon balm and heather – there’s a romantic thought – in a base or organic jojoba oil and shea butter. Organically certified, which is important for us – too many brands still claim to be organic, without jumping through the relevant hoops.

The dispenser. Jolly useful pump action on the larger tube. which couldn’t be easier to use.

The scent. Lightly orange-y, thanks to orange peel oil. Nothing that would clash with your chosen fragrance.

The fact there’s a handbag version. Neat. Useful. 30ml, which is the perfect on-the-go-sized tube, while we keep the 75ml size for bedtime slathering. (The smaller tube has a ‘normal’ flip-top, rather than the pump dispenser.)

Pure pleasure, these. (And that is pure, in every way.)
