Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Booster

We’ve seen a lot of ‘skincare boosters’, lately: products designed to turbo-charge the action of your moisturiser/serum/whatever. But this is the first haircare booster to make it onto our radar: a super-conditioner designed to enhance the effects of the already-legendary Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, a truly iconic deep treatment.

You use this BETWEEN treatments with the original Elasticizer, and (no surprises here) it’s most particularly useful for dry and coloured hair – though can apparently be used on all hairtypes, textures and conditions. Good for the frizzles, too, we’re told.

Key ingredients are chia seed (if you’ve ever eaten these, you’ll understand the ‘bio-film’ they create, which has been found to improve sleekness), olive oil and a type of elastin (more familiar from skincare, to which it delivers a ‘bounce-back’ factor).
