Paul & Joe limited edition Christmas excitement

We like to pretend that we’re quite grown-up, really. Then something like this Paul & Joe kit lands on our desks and we’re 15 again. Or maybe six years old.

Unfailingly, the beauty arm of the French fashion house excites us with their launches - and it’s been that way from the get-go. In fact, when Jo gave up her role as Beauty Editor of YOU Magazine quite some years ago, after an eight-year weekly stint, she wasn’t sure she ever wanted to see another lipstick. Then she went to the unveiling of Paul & Joe’s very first beauty line and got all heart-flutteringly excited. Which is pretty much how we felt all over again when we saw this…

The happiness-sparking Makeup Collection 2020 (above), priced £48 (value £70+), features a Moisturizing Foundation Primer, Illuminating Pressed Powder and a Powder Blush.

But we’re also bonkers about the Face Powder, below (it’s £32), which looks just like a box of sweeties. A KITTEN-adorned box of sweeties, if that wasn’t enchanting enough. And the adoration doesn’t stop there – because just scroll down for the teddy bear-emblazoned Body & Hair Mist, priced at a tenner, with its wonderful orange blossom scent…

All of it very much makes us wish that Santa was planning a visit to these parts. But – ssssshhhh – he might just be stuffing these into some stockings of our most-adored people, this Christmas.
