When we saw the price-tag for this, we were a tad taken aback. Yes, it’s 100ml size. But yes, it’s fifty quid, which seems potentially a bit steep for making your house smell gorgeous – AND WE DO MEAN GORGEOUS! – but not so much when you discover that it can not only be used in sheets, pillows, clothing, sofas, into the air to freshen a room etc., but also on… you.

We have lately been experiencing relentlessly grey weather around these parts, and ishga Uplifting Aroma Spray has proved just the spirit-lifting ticket. From the Hebridean brand, it’s 99% natural, and 94% organic (COSMOS organically certified by the Soil Association) – as they put it, ‘Even the organic-grain ethanol in this beautiful spray is produced from organically grown grains or grapes, which are free from synthetic fertilisers, hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, GMO’s or herbicides.’

There’s a touch of ishga’s skin-friendly Fucus serratus seaweed extract in there, too. But as with other ishga loves of ours, It’s the smell that hooked us, as ever, though. Rose geranium, lemongrass, bergamot, red mandarin and a touch of sandalwood, to round it all out. Zesty, so fresh – and on the body, a lovely Cologne-y smell. It’s honestly a shaft of sunlight, on even the grimmest day.

To hit ‘refresh’, look no further.
