Beauty Bible Loves... Gatineau Perfection Ultime Miracle Eye Contour
Very, very occasionally, a beauty product lands on the desk that makes us exclaim out loud, when we try it, βBloody hell!β
This is just such a product. A perfectly unassuming little tube of Gatineau Perfection Ultimeβ’ Miracle Eye Contour. But weβre always intrigued when a brand plasters the word βmiracleβ on a product β certainly enough to give it a go.
And wow, wow, wow! So glad we did.
Take one small dot of the white cream. Massage into under-eye area and lids. (It goes a long way.) Look in mirror. Result: dark circles almost vanished, eye area brightened and ever-so-slightly radiant (without being shiny), fine lines and wrinkles less visible.
Miraculously β only word for it β the white dot of lightweight product morphs into a perfect match for skin (as with yesterdayβs Fab Find of the Week, colour-adjusting technology is being increasingly widely adopted).
Whatβs more, if you use it on upper lids, itβs a perfectly decent and relatively grippy base for make-up. Concealer is barely necessary, because itβs so good at evening out skintone.
The ingredients? Niacinamide, vitamin E and aloe vera all feature. Along with βEye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,β so far as we can make out.
Obviously we were joking about those, which we lifted from Shakespeareβs Macbeth, with its three cauldron-stirring witches.
But thereβs definitely magic in there, somewhere.
