Beauty Bible Loves... CHANEL Le Rouge 31 Matte Lipstick
We have more CHANEL news for you incoming, on Thursday. (And it’s V-E-R-Y exciting.) But for now, we want to fill you in on what is unquestionably the comfiest matte lipstick that we’ve ever slicked across our lips: CHANEL Le Rouge Matte Lipstick.
Actually, it’s not totally matte. Satiny, we’d call it. But importantly, not tight at all, while being really pretty budge-proof. A deep and flattering stain survived lunch, although the satiny-ness (or however you spell it!) did disappear when hunger got the better of us. But still, incredibly impressive staying powre.
This is an extension to the CHANEL Le Rouge 31 range which we reported on here as our ‘Fabuleux Find of the Week’ (the only time we’ve used the French for that!), which offers a more conventionally glossy finish.
There are 12 shades, spanning a classic pinky-beige Rouge Beige through to deep garnet Rouge 2.55. Super-luxe-priced, we’ll grant you – but if you’ve already got the so-glam, last-a-lifetime refillable perspex case, this slips right inside for a change of mood and finish.
