Cath Kidston Power to the Peaceful
We pretty much love everything that Cath Kidston launches, right now. The rucksacks, the PJs, even the clothes – and of course, the bath and body goodies (we simply refuse to use the ‘t’ word). These, in fact, are co-created with the wonderful British family brand Heathcote & Ivory, and simply go from strength to strength.
In fact, we will be ticking names on our Christmas lists thanks to this collection, with its whimsical illustrations and wind-down vibe. So much to choose from, all in the prettiest pastels and with soothing scents. It’s heavenly. (In every way.) And since we’re probably going to need de-stressing over the coming months, super-timely. Also: very reasonably priced, perfect for thrift-conscious times.

Several of the items are also available individually (the lavender-powered Pillow Mist is £10 for 100ml, here), but we love this beautiful box of aromatherapy treats, featuring the Power to the Peaceful blend of lavender, clary sage, eucalyptus and vetiver. Features a Hand Cream, Body Cream (in recycled plastic tube and bottles), plus the most beautiful lavender-filled sleep mask, backed with velvet and with a comfy velvet strap.
Power to the Peaceful Hand Creams /£14 for four x 30ml. The Cath Kidston hand creams have always had the perfect rich-but-not-sticky texture, now featuring four fragrances designed ‘to impart a feeling of wellbeing’: WITH PEACE – EARTH (grounding lavender, patchouli, sage); RISE UP – FIRE (amber and floral musks); BREATHE – AIR (sandalwood, palo santo and frankincense, all very meditative), and RESTORE – WATER (ylang ylang, rose, and geranium). Your yoga bunny best friend, your mum, your five-year-old’s teacher… this is a can’t-fail offering, for a celebration or ‘just because’.
