Following on from Monday’s piece on updating foundations for spring, we’ve another to add to our list of recommended bases.
This fabulous, so-easy-to-use Benefit Hello Happy Air Stick Foundation is what we’d normally categorise as a ‘weekend foundation’: something that’s a cinch to smoosh on, offering medium coverage that feels pretty weightless. Because who wants to wear full slap, on the weekend…?
Only those lines are blurred between work and weekend, now, with so many of us working from home – so actually, this feels just right for everyday during lockdown. Enough to make us feel like we’ve made an effort, without looking over made-up on a Zoom call.
The weightlessness we mention is important because so many foundation refuseniks tell us it’s because they don’t like the feel of it on their skin. Well, you literally can’t tell that this is there. It’s VERY breathable. Airy by name, airy by nature.
There are 12 shades, spanning pale ivory through to some excellent dark tones – and we think it’s pretty forgiving, allowing a bit of leeway either side with a chosen shade. (Since most of us are shopping on line, that’s particularly relevant.)
