Balance Me Super Berry Cleansing Balm
Well, here’s a bit of a surprise.
When this landed on the desk, notwithstanding the pedigree of its creators at Balance Me, we thought: ‘Hmmm, a simple cleansing balm…? Do we really need that in our lives, when there are so many other natural cleansing options (literally) at our fingertips?’
Answer: YES. YES. YES.
First up, Super Berry Cleansing Balm has an incredibly indulgent texture: just the perfect amount of slip, without being greasy. It’s neither too solid in a cold bathroom, nor too runny. (If Goldilocks was looking for a cleansing balm, she’d settle on this as being just perfect.)
it is a joy to massage it into skin to remove grime and make-up build-up. But it is most of all a joy for the senses: smell, as well as touch. There are essential oils of Holy basil and lavender in there, among others – very calming, at the end of a stressful day.
Beyond that, Balance Me have also carefully selected the oils in this cleanser to have skin-caring benefits. There are antioxidant/omega-rich raspberry seed, blackberry and Arctic cloudberry oils, plus jojoba and rosehip oil. It’s early days, but we think this glass pot is going to last aeons.
