Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Soap & Glory newness
We literally don’t know what to say when £250 creams land on our desks. How can we hand-on-heart recommend them, without sounding completely let-them-eat-cake? But happily, our observation over the past few years, in particular, is that there are all manner of brilliant skincare products on the market at a fraction of those heart-stopping price-tags.
And thus we welcome the newness from good old Soap & Glory, which may have a lower profile than in the days when our friend Marcia Kilgore ran it, but still creates damned good stuff. They’ve just introduced five products to the range, and this trio is pushing our bargain-hunting buttons. PLUS, at time of press, all the products below are on special offer at Boots – making them even more of a steal!
Soap and Glory The Bright Stuff Brightening Serum. The key with serums is to find one you’ll want to use, and this plums and hydrates from the get-go. And at £12.99 for 30ml, it’s literally one-twentieth of the price of many serums out there. What we know is: it’s using a product regularly that brings about real improvements – and this is a delight to apply
Soap and Glory Get Into the Smooth Hydrating Sorbet Cream/£9.99 for 50ml. Oh, we love a sorbet cream – that tells you everything you need to know about the whipped texture of this, which is instantly skin-quenching, helping to smooth skin and support its barrier function. (And you know how we feel about that.)
Soap & Glory Glow My Gosh Revitalising Face Mask/£12.99 for 50ml. Instantly glow-getting – just the thing for faces that have been over-self-tanned (and are thus looking a bit dingy), or are generally in need of a l-o-n-g drink of hydration.
