Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Hair Proud Shine Sauce 10-Minute Mask
Thereβs a window of opportunity right now for deep conditioning hair, between turning off the central heating (please God) and the damage weβre going to inflict on it through seawater, sunshine and being whipped by the wind as we bounce across the bay of Saint-Tropez in a Riva speedboat. (That last bitβs just a fantasy, but you never know.)
Weβve tried this several times and been quite astonished by its restorative powers, on hair thatβs frankly had the life sapped out of it by winter. We couldnβt put hand on heart and tell you that the βbefore and aftersβ, above, are 100% genuine β but we wouldnβt be surprised.
Hair Proud Shine Sauce 10-Minute Mask is silicone-free, with botanical nourishers that include macadamia and rice protein, alongside hydrating ceramides β but hair is left light, bouncy and very, very shiny. Yes, it takes 10 minutes, but you can either lie back in the bath and let it work its wonderment, or wrap your head in a towel, get on with life, and rinse it out later. (Longer might be even better, but we havenβt given it a go.)
It also smells completely fab β tropical, pretty, summery β with a scent that has apparently been created using neuroscience, to offer specific mood-boosting effects.
But frankly, the price itself makes us happy enough β although pricier than supermarket haircare, we applaud Hair Proud for keeping their prices accessible, at a time when luxury haircare prices are sky-rocketing.
