Allure Beauty Editor Linda Wells shares this trick for getting the perfect ‘ squoval’  nail shape in a salon. ‘ When the manicurist asks “square or round?”, answer “square”. Then when she’s filed the first nail, pipe up with “Oooh, can you make it a little rounder?” and stop her when she hits the right shape.’
