We do love a kit – there’s something so comforting about having everything to care for your complexion in one place. And we so love AMLY Botanicals, the impeccably natural, multi award-winning skincare brand founded in 2015 by artist Lisa Smallpiece, owner of Hawthbush Farm in East Sussex, and Kerry Anne Moore, a craniosacral therapist and holistic practitioner. The story of AMLY has a fairy tale quality so…
Once upon a time, some ten years ago, Lisa and her family moved to beautiful Hawthbush Farm – think: organic meadows dancing with wildflowers, dotted with ancient woodland and bordered by mixed hedgerows. Exploring the farm’s potential, they discovered that flowing deep below one particularly flower-rich meadow, long known as Amly, was a pure water source infused with minerals and also silver – the precious metal that has a long tradition for healing skin.
Lisa and Kerry came up with the notion of creating a facial mist based on the sparkling, skin-cherishing water from the underground source, brimming with plant extracts, floral waters and naturally scented with pure essential oils.
