Fab Find of the Week: Wildsmith Body Oils

Oh, these are really helping with the ‘Dry Body Syndrome’ we’ve been experiencing lately, the knock-on effect of a) central heating (body skin’s worst enemy) and having to encase our bodies in top-to-toe thermals (thank you, north wind); these actually absorb skin’s moisture and lipids, wicking them from the epidermis, leaving skin papery and dusty-looking.

So: from multi-Beauty BIble Award-winning beauty name Wildsmith, these two all-natural body oils are all-fabulous.

They come in two variants. Vitality Body Oil is a gently invigorating kick-start to the day, with ginger, black pepper and cedarwood – perfect a.m. pick-me-up.

The second is a perfect bedtime choice: Stillness Body Oil, with a blend of Roman chamomile, lavender and rose geranium – very sense-soothing but also something pretty enough to want to massage into our skin. (In other words: not too like a pillow mist, thanks to touches of ylang ylang, jasmine and benzoin resin.)

Both are infused into an omega-rich blend of six nut free botanical oils – including evening primrose, raspberry seed, rosehip and oat kernel oil, with antioxidant Vitamins A, C and E. It’s luscious – but it’s not sticky, so clothes (and nightwear) don’t stick to it.

In just a week, used morning and night, these have reversed a winter of Sahara-dry skin. Very impressive indeed. (And we can’t wait for our testers to put them through their paces in next year’s Body Oils trials…! We’ve a hunch we’ll love them as much as we do.)
