Fab Find of the Week: SENSORI+ Air Detoxifying Aromatic Mists
One of the things we love home fragrance for is its ability to ground us, aromatherapeutically. You know: stop all that racing in the brain, and somehow re-tether us to Planet Earth. The right scents, in our experience, can absolutely do that – and SENSORI+ has not one but two of them in their range, in the form of our two choices here.
Toowoomba Carnival 4350 has roses, lavender and sweet orange, but to be honest, we also get an earthiness – in the nicest possible way – when we smell this. The way Jo puts it, it’s ‘like listening to the earth hum, breathing these. Can’t explain it, but that’s what it seems like, to me.’
Meanwhile, if Toowoomba Carnival 4350 is grounding, Gayndah Orchard 4625 is uplifting (we love a spritz to reawaken us at slump-time around 4 o’clock). It’s described as evoking ‘the charming memory of a Sunday stroll through the citrus orchards of Gayndah, re-created by the exquisite blend of hand cold-pressed bergamot oil, delicate neroli and lingering cedarwood.’
This Australian range celebrates the wide open spaces and unique scents of that continent. Down under, there’s skin- and bodycare on sale, but it’s mostly the home scents that have made landfall in the UK first. SENSORI+ make an interesting claim: to eliminate bad odours and ‘neutralise air tonic on a molecular level.’ One of the three founders has been working in ‘air cleaning technology for a decade’ – and here’s what they say:
