Fab Find Of The Week: Green People Nordic Roots natural skincare

If you're a regular reader, you'll know Charlotte Vøhtz's name. She is the tireless pioneering eco-beauty entrepreneur who founded Green People, and more recently, the fab Age Defy by Cha Vøhtz range, which we eulogised about here

And at a time when so very, very many people are looking to simplify our lives, tread more lightly on the planet and stay in touch with the natural world that so sustained us during the difficult months of lockdown, Danish-born Charlotte has drawn on her Scandinavian heritage and love of naturals to bring us a new 'clean' range, Green People Nordic Roots

Before we talk about what's INSIDE, you might want to know that the outer packaging is made with something called Storch – composed of 25% grass, using a third of the C02 of 'primary pulp' (which most is made from), and entirely compostable, recyclable and biodegradeable.

One of the other notable things about Nordic Roots is that it's fragrance-free. There's a sensitive skin epidemic at the moment, partly because our complexions are so affected by stress – and there's a veritable epidemic of that – and also because they're just not used to fabric rubbing against them.

Harnessing natural ingredients like sugar beet (hydrating), hops (for hyperpigmentation), oat kernel extract (soothing), oat kernel extract (calming and soothing), and apple cellular water (proven to help with skin elasticity), the capsule Nordic Roots range is COSMOS-certified and features just four products:

Hyaluronic Booster Serum, Marine Facial Oil, Apple Complex Moisturiser and what is probably our favourite, Cranberry Micellar Foam – the first 'micellar' foam we’ve tried, and really very effective at dissolving make-up and grime, which we weren't somehow expecting, without leaving skin tight.

We've just one warning: this range really is gender-free, meaning that it is quite likely to be swiped by anyone in your household. Don't say you weren't warned.
