Fab Find of the Week: NEOM Wellbeing Wind Down and Slow Down collections

Nights are about to get darker and cosier. And NEOM Wellbeing has TWO new and exclusive ranges to make the most of shorter days and snuggly evenings.

NEOM are very considered about their pace of launches, so this is definitely big news, built around the simple idea of using fragrance to comfort and cocoon, by way of different home-scenting rituals.

Let’s start with Wind Down, pictured above, offering a Diffuser, for a steady background presence (in this case made of gorgeous rose pink glass); a Candle (NB we always try to pause a moment and make a ceremony of lighting any kind fo candle); Travel Candle for winding down on-the-go (as it were), and an Essential Oil blend, which can be used in one of this autumn’s special Wellbeing Pods (see above). The Wind Down edition is a gorgeous tortoiseshell/marbled glass finish – a simply brilliant way to fill a space with scent, misting it into the air, and useful if you can’t burn a candle at home for any reason.

Wind Down’s fragrance is a seriously soothing and restorative blend of geranium, lavender and juniper – a sort of cleanse-away-a-stressful day scent.

But wait… because over at John Lewis, there’s a second, exclusive and limited edition collection: Slow Down – slightly confusing having two collections with such similar names, perhaps, but not to be confused as Slow Down’s scent is snugglier and warmer, with notes of vanilla, cedarwood and patchouli. There are differences in how they look, too; Wind Down is pink, Slow Down is yellow… Up to you whether you match to your mood, or your decor; for the product line-up, scroll down.

Either way, we think they’re both a great way to press the pause button, at the end of the day. And we feel rather spoiled for choice…
