Fab Find of the Week: It's A 10 Blow-Dry collection

We’ve sung the praises of It’s A 10 quite a bit since it landed here in the middle of a pandemic, but this is hands down our favourite collection yet, making a blow-dry both speedier and more long-lasting. (We first got to try it at It’s A 10’s pop-up salon in London, with fab founder Carolyn Aronson making a flying visit to the UK from Miami, and we’re INCREDIBLY impressed with how long our style lasted.)

Here’s the line-up, and what it does…

Blow Dry Miracle Glossing Shampoo and Miracle Glossing Glaze Conditioner/£21 each for 295ml. Yes, quite a lot to pay for a shampoo and conditioner, but not in the context of money saved on salon blow-dries – plus these really do leave hair INCREDIBLY smooth and shiny, without being floppy. (Unlike so many, in which there’s usually a trade-ff between shine and body).

Blow Dry Glossing Leave-In/£20 for 120ml. Let’s get one thing straight: It’s A 10’s bestselling leave-in products are NOT your usual leave-in conditioners, but work more like an uber-glossing styling primer that protects and is your first styling step, helping to retain your desired blow-dry look.

Blow Dry Texture Spray/£21 for 282ml. Oh, this is bloody wonderful. It’s kind of a featherweight, texturising hair spray, but we like to spritz it on between washes with our heads upside down for some instant volume, rather than use it as a finishing spray.

Blow Dry Miracle Styling Balm/£17.50 for 148ml. Think of this as a ‘hair moisturiser’ which helps to add definition, working to eliminate flyaways and also protect from even the vicious heat of styling tongs or hair straighteners.

Blow Dry Miracle Hair Refresher/£17.50 for 190ml. Another between-washes must-have, akin to a dry shampoo, refreshing hair to extend the time before you have to blow-dry again.

Although with the fab textures, fresh scent and the pleasure factor of that lovely ‘Tiffany blue’ packaging, you might decide not to wait, actually.
