Fab Find of the Week: Liz Earle Superskin Advanced newness

This Superskin Advanced range simply gets better and better, in our book. And following our little love affair with last year’s Superskin launches – which you can catch up with here – we have been very happily putting these two newbies through their paces.

First up, a delicious, delectable, serum-y (and non-stickin) serum: Superskin Advanced Lift & Define Serum. Does it lift and define? Too soon to tell, but the skin-quenching, slippy texture and the way it leaves skin velvety encourage the sort of diligent use which, we know, delivers results. Skin-boosting ingredients? Rosehip oil, pomegranate and acacia tree extracts.

Last year saw a non-SPF serum-in-moisturiser launch – and now there’s Liz Earle Superskin Advanced Firming Serum-in-Moisturiser SPF20 – again, with a bouncy, (yes) serum-like texture that just glides over skin. This version offers very light sun protection via an SPF20 that’s probably just about OK till Easter – but what we’d really like to see is that bumped up a bit further in its next incarnation, because we’d like to use this all summer long, please! Actives are rosehip oil, again, with cranberry and sea buckthorn oils, vitamin E – and there’s a subtle, fresh, citrus-botanical scent to it.

Both are honestly bliss to use – which means we want to use them – which equals the best chance of seeing that ‘lift and defined’ result that this duo promises.

Because as we’ve always believed with skincare, slow and steady wins the race.
