Fab Find of the Week: Gucci Glow Oil-in-Water Lip Tint

We all need cheering up. These are a really good way: a little bit of Gucci glam, without lots of zeros on the end of the price.

As lip stains go, these are world-class. They glide on via the doe-foot wand, and the colour stays. And stays. Brilliant for those days when you don’t have time for touching up your lipcolour, but you want lips to look… ‘there’.

In terms of the stain – Gucci Glow Oil-in-Water Lip Tint is available in eight shades – the look is buildable. We were sent all eight shades to try, and are most taken with two: the deep 509 Gucci Rosso Ancora, and wine-toned 129 Paula Maple (the deep shade, third from left above).

There are plenty of gorgeous neutrals, in between – plus a pink and a mauve. Lightly moisturising rather than massively skin-quenching, they’re comfy – and nourishing, with hyaluronic acid, black rose extract and cranberry peptides.

And – we know we shouldn’t be influenced by this (but just sometimes we are) – there’s that Gucci glamour, adding a luxurious halo to the whole thing.
