Emma Hardie Moringa Light Cleansing Gel

It’s always a moment of GREAT excitement when a new launch from superfacialist Emma Hardie comes along, because that’s not something that happens too often.

Now, this calls itself a ‘gel’. Is it? To us, it’s more a super-light balm, because we associate gels with detergents (which in turn can strip skin), and that’s just not how this works. With a blend of light oils – grapeseed, moringa, sweet almond oil, along with sea fennel and moringa seed peptides – it’s wonderfully make-up melting, yet not greasy at all. Massage into skin, breathe in the sublime orange blossom scent (which is a signature of many of Emma’s products), and… well, swoon, actually.

It does swish away – though we still prefer to use a muslin cloth or a flannel – but doesn’t leave skin tight. It’s definitely effective enough to use as part of an evening regime, or as part of a double cleanse – but we’ve become somewhat addicted to using it in the morning, actually, to wake up our faces and remove night creams/oils etc.

Welcome to our bathroom shelf, Moringa Light Cleansing Gel. You really are a lovely way to greet the day…
