Beauty Bible Loves... Trinny London Miracle Blur Diffuser
We like to keep a pot of Trinny Face Finish Mattifying Balm handy (literally in the handbag). It’s fab for instantly blurring lines when we’re feeling a little on the weary and less-than-confident side. (It happens. Even to us. Even though we do all the right stuff, mostly.)
So we were super-keen to try this alternative. This line-blurrer has a quite different texture to original Face Finish, in that it’s a light, clear liquid balm-gel rather than a waxy paste. (An albeit completely brilliant and slightly life-changing waxy paste, in the case of Face Finish. Not that it really is wax; there are shedloads of silicones in there.)
Although Trinny London Miracle Blur Diffuser has a metal dispenser – like you might find on some eye creams or concealers – in fact, you add a pea-sized dollop to the back of your hand and tap onto lines from there. It’s particularly good for the lines around the eyes and the mouth to chin lines (if you have them). Technically it can be applied under make-up, or over: we prefer the latter technique, and as ever, give Trinny thanks for another genius innovation for those days when we’re feeling our years, but, er, don’t necessarily want to look them...
