Beauty Bible Loves... REFY Brow Pomade

If you want brows that take you from dawn to dusk – and beyond – we have a new find for you. Because REFY Brow Pomade absolutely doesn’t budge until you want it to (and then removes easily, with your usual remover).

We’re rather taken with REFY, having bought our first bits and bobs after Instagram basically kept spamming us with ads for it. This British brand kind of ‘crowd-sources’ their ideas, having built an online community to whom new products can be drip-fed, rather than launching with an all-singing-all-dancing line-up of products.

Lips and brows are a real speciality, thus far – but this is the standout, of the products we’ve tried. It comes in the form of a small, mascara-shaped tube. One end unscrews to reveal an angled brush for application. The other twists off to reveal the pomade. Simply dip brush in pomade, and build up the colour on your brow. (Wiping the brush on the edge of the pomade end of the product is important, so as not to overload the brow area. You can always build.)

Some of the product transfers to skin, some to brow hairs – but it all just works. Simply use the angle brush to create the brow shape of your choice, or simply accent what you’ve got. (We like a more natural look – and it delivers that perfectly.)

As above, there are eight shades, with a match for every brow, from Ash to Expresso and Dark – and there’s an Auburn, which is such great news for redheads.

All that remains is explaining how to say it – ‘reh-FYE’. (But the co-founder Jess Hunt’s mum apparently calls it ‘Reffy’, so don’t fret too much.) Fact is, however you pronounce it, you’re going to be hearing a lot more about this brand. (Not least from us.)
