Beauty Bible Loves... Medicube PDRN Collagen Gua Sha Neck Wrinkle Cream

The thing about neck creams is that to be effective, they have to become a HABIT. Something you do regularly, ritually, nigh on religiously, to see effects. So… first and foremost, the product has to be a pleasure to use.
And this is.
Now, what we know – and share in our new book, The Beauty Bible: Iconic Edition – is that massage is infallibly good for faces, jawline, neckline… So, in a little stroke of genius from the K-beauty brand, Medicube PDRN Collagen Gua Sha Neck Wrinkle Cream is dispensed via a metal gua sha which you run along the jaw for a de-puffing action. It has a cooling effect, and makes for a deliciously soothing ritual – although it’s a tad tricky to manoeuvre over the neck itself, so we squeeze from the dispenser and massage it in with fingers, instead (ideally in an upwards, gravity-defying motion). But the lymph-draining jaw action? Rather addictive.
Active ingredients include a raft of peptides, some retinol, ceramides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, along with hydrolysed collagen (a great moisturiser, though NB it doesn’t actually boost your own collagen levels), along with an instantly skin-plumping ingredient called Volufiline, at 5%, which also works to boost elasticity over time. Importantly, for us, it’s fragrance-free – which reduces the risk of irritation in what can be a sensitive zone, but won’t clash with your own perfume choice, either.
Also… compared to many neck creams that cross our desks, this is super-affordable, so you don’t feel you have to be mean with it. And that’s ALSO important.
A neck treatment that’s pleasant to use AND doesn’t break the bank? We’ll stick our (smoother) necks out and say: that’s a win-win.
