Beauty Bible Loves… Kulsi Lassi Lips Staining Lip Oil

First, the beauty world offered us lip glosses. Then we had lip oils. (Oh, and stains.) And now, in just the last few weeks, we’ve seen a flurry of activity around the concept of a hybrid ‘staining lip oil.’ 

Spotted at the launch of Space NK’s flagship on Oxford Circus (read our report from beauty’s front line, here), Kulfi Lassi Lips Staining Oil just landed in the UK, so it’s probably as new to you as it was to us. But this is a total keeper. Not only is it glossy. And nourishing. And comfy. Pigment-wise, it packs a heck of a punch, when first applied but also, in terms of the stain left on lips. It’s really buildable, so that you can apply anything from a little dab through to a full-on vamp effect using the doe-foot wand (and everything in between).

The colour we chose was Black Cherry – so perfectly named, as a deep, dark cherry red. The tint left behind is more of a raspberry – like your lips, but deeper – but as a glossy oil, it’s more intense. (For how it looks on different pouts, see above.)
