Beauty Bible Loves... Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Spray

Make-up melting in the heat…? Us, too.

Here’s the answer. Have to say, we’ve always been a bit nervous of setting sprays – early incarnations tended to give a big ‘zoosh’ that wetted a hairline or left you sweaty-looking. But not Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Spray. Oh, no. (Not that we’d have expected anything less from Charlotte Tilbury.)

The No.1 selling setting spray on the market, this delivers a fine mist that is invisible on skin, yet really does stop creasing and fading and make-up generally going AWOL. It’s perfect, Charlotte promises, ‘If you want to work all day and party all night’ – but we’ll settle for daytime and early evening, thanks.

Apparently, it also works in the rain (and right now, with our thirsty gardens, we’d just love to put that to the test). As she told our colleague Sarah Jossel recently, ‘Celine Dion wore this at the top of the Eiffel Tower for the Olympics in the pouring rain. She was drenched in setting spray, and didn’t she look flawless and poreless?’ Charlotte, she did.

Good enough for Celine, good enough for Charlotte – and definitely good enough for us.
