Bobbi Brown x Pretty Powerful kit
We have long supported the Smart Works charity and its work to help unemployed women to climb the career ladder through coaching, confidence-boosting workshops and by providing the clothes that are necessary to 'dress for success'. And we were super-happy when Royal Patron The Duchess of Sussex got behind them, launching a clothing collaboration with M&S and Jigsaw. (We really, really hope that Meghan doesn't forget about Smart Works now she's retreated to the wilds of Canada.)
Anyway, we're SUPER-happy that for 2020, to mark International Women's Day, Bobbi Brown – a make-up brand which has long promoted women's empowerment through its Pretty Powerful campaign (pioneered by our founder friend Bobbi herself) – is partnering with Smart Works to offer all proceeds from this fab kit to the charity.
The pouch itself is designed by Elizabeth Scarlett, whose designs have grown out of her own love of nature and painting. And how pretty is it, with its embroidery on a pink velvet background?
The limited edition bag itself contains three classics from Bobbi Brown: Smokey Eye Mascara, Pot Rouge (in suits-all-skintones Powder Pink) and the iconic Vitamin Enriched Face Base.
The full £64 price (less the flipping VAT!) will go to the charity – making this an entirely guilt-free beauty purchase, we'd say.
