Beauty Bible Loves... Beauty Pie Super-Luminous Under-Eye Genius
We donβt believe everything we see on Instagram. There are filters. Thereβs AI stuff going on. But sometimes, our interest is piqued and we decide to see something extraordinary with our own (sometimes rather shadow-y) eyes.
And so it was with Beauty Pie Super-Luminous Under-Eye Genius (an ambitious product name, if ever we saw one). Dark circles literally were disappearing on Instagram videos before our, um, eyes. So, an order was made. (Bagging the discount that we have for subscribing to Beauty Pie, whose unique business model is that β via a βclub-styleβ regular fee β you are able to access all manner of beauty products at little more than factory prices. Read about how it works here).
This is not a concealerβ¦ exactly. Weβd describe this as a shadow-eraser, to be tapped onto dark circles (and donβt forget the grey area on the inside of the nose bone sort of near the tear duct, which is a dead giveaway). It features masses of light-scattering particles which literally magic away the darkness and shading. Key is to match as close as possible your skintone: weβre Light-Medium, but there are three deeper shades β all of which are quite forgiving, actually. (Weβve pictured the shades, below.)
Then, if you then apply concealer over the top (and we still like to do that), you use less because it doesnβt have to work as hard β and weβre all about trying to find ways to use less make-up, to better effect. Which sounds topsy-turvy because weβre asking you to add in a make-up product to your regime β but it needs a tiny amount, for a mega-impact.
Genius? Not hyperbole, in this case. And when it comes to our dark circles, seeing β or rather, NOT seeing β really is believing.
