Beauty Bible #BFF: Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow
Fact: as beauty editors, we’re sent truckloads of new products to try – which means, alas, that long-standing favourites sometimes fall off the radar. So in this occasional new Beauty Bible #BFFs series, we’ll be revisiting favourite products that may not be brand new, but are 100% brilliant.
‘Wow! Your skin looks amazing – it just glows. What’s the secret?’ said my niece sweetly – if a little enviously. It took me a while to think. Then abracadabra! I remembered that, foraging in a stash of long- forgotten cosmetics, I’d found one of my personal Hall of Fame products – Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow.
Back in the day – it was launched in 2016 - this ‘Instant Soft Focus Beauty Flash’, which promises to blur the appearance of fine lines by some miracle of light diffusion, had been a beauty staple. Always in my make-up bag, often given to friends for presents. (Especially when dear niece noticed immediately.)
It’s a triple duty beauty star, really. Use it as a primer to create a super smooth foundation base, which I do every day. Perk up bare skin when it’s a bit dull and tired looking. Or (and I love this one, too), stroke a little squish of this soft gold elixir high up on cheek bones to give a finishing gleam of the most subtle iridescence.
There’s hyaluronic acid in the formula to hydrate and if you use it regularly, the signature Bionymph (love that!) Peptide Complex might just help your complexion’s tone and texture and increase suppleness and firmness. We really can’t swear to that but it’s a lovely thought, which we’d like to believe.
