Wise advice from our friend Trinny Woodall: when you hit mid-life, rethink the colour palette. ‘It may not longer be flattering. There are shades that we may have loved early in life, but as our skin and hair change, we need to look at whether the same colours are still working for us. Instead, find the cool or warm colour combinations that are most flattering for you. Identify your skin undertone: the underlying colour beneath the surface. If it’s pink or blue then you’re “cool” and will look great in blue-based pinks and reds. peach, caramel or yellow, and you’re “warm” and and you’ll look better in golden or peachy shades.’
