HAIR WRAP

This is the first time we’ve included this in our list of categories. We invited brands to submit ‘devices and accessories’ and received an incredibly mixed bag of entries, some of them doing very well for testers.

The idea of hair wraps is that they speed up the drying process (not to mention prevent drips down the neck if you can’t get to style your hair straight away). Anyway, we’ve a lovely winner to share with you, here.

GOLD AWARD  Seoulista Silky Locks Hair Wrap

Seoulista is a ‘K-Beauty’ brand – in other words, it’s from Korea, where so many beauty trends and innovations have sprung from, in recent years. In a very eye-catching paisley design (we definitely wouldn’t mind greeting the postman in THIS), it’s a lightweight wrap specifically designed to avoid dragging and tangling, protecting it from the effects of friction – think: thinning, frizz, split ends, breakage… Just wrap-and-twist (there’s a how-to diagram on the pack). Almost all the testers loved it; some were existing hair wrap users and would make the switch from their usual brand to this.

‘The pattern on this is wonderful and the fabric is really smooth, not like any turban I've ever used. This is the only turban I took on holiday with me as it dries so quickly; too – it’s the only hair turban I reach for at home, because it’s so comfortable I don't think I could live without it any more’ • ‘My hair tangles less as it’s very gentle.
