We have 4 sets of these amazing, new-to-the-UK products to give away, each set value £86

Unlike the legendary ‘it’s a Sever-r-r-rn’ Strictly score, this new hair care launch gives itself an unabashed 10. And according to Jo Fairley and to Sarah’s niece Alex Stacey, who’ve both been wowed by the products, this US-born range definitely deserves full marks.

Founder Carolyn Aronson, a hairdresser for 35 years, gave It’s A 10 the name ‘because when I test products I rate them’ and these were the formulas that came out top. The number also reflects Carolyn’s edict that the products must do ’10 things instantly’; the benefits are listed on the back of each bottle so you can actually check them off! Find out more on the new UK website, itsa10haircare.co.uk, and also at victoriahealth.com.

After using the Miracle Moisture Shampoo, Miracle Hair Mask and a Leave-in Conditioner spray, Alex Stacey reported (and Sarah can confirm) that they did indeed make an instant difference to her thick, coarse-textured, dry, dull-looking hair.

‘My hair felt softer to touch and was much more manageable in terms of styling and straightening. It looked glossier and healthier and has really made me consider investing in better hair products,’ Alex said, adding delightedly that she ‘received several compliments about how good my hair looked in Zoom meetings!’ [We were in lockdown at the time.] Sarah would add that Alex’ hair looked much shinier – ‘it definitely caught the light’ - and also lay much more smoothly, which made her chin-length cut look very flattering.

Somewhat to Jo’s surprise, she is ‘really rather blown away’ by It's a 10. After trying the shampoo and conditioner, she was so impressed by the shine and manageability that she went on to try the best-selling star product, Miracle Leave-In Conditioner, which comes in a suits-everyone option plus six other choices for different hair types. Jo tried the first version plus Miracle Leave-in for Blondes.

Mind you, Jo was sceptical. ‘I’m addicted to hair masks and I thought ‘Pah! Leave-in conditioners won’t do much for my bleached-to-high-heaven hair.” But I couldn't have been more wrong. Since I’ve been using It’s A 10, my hair is so darned silky that I honestly can’t stop stroking it. Luckily, there's nobody around to look at me weirdly, for now...'

These professional salon formulas, which took a mind-blowing 20 years to develop (that’s dedication for you), began with Carolyn Aronson’s frustration over the dozens of products with single benefits and hard-to-follow claims. ‘So people had to create their own concoction of products to get the results and hair health they were looking for,’ she says.

Carolyn’s aim? To work with top US chemists to create products that would give exceptional results with each bottle providing a 10-strong combination of benefits – principally shine, hydration, bounce and swing plus controlling frizz and protecting colour. So that all hair types could achieve perfectly healthy, glossy, gorgeous hair – simply and easily.
