Hanging onto a vacation level of calm when you're back home can be easy when you know how, according to meditation expert Chris Connors - who explains that it can also be difficult to switch back 'on'. He suggests trying to integrate the stillness and clear thinking you enjoyed on holiday into your daily life. 'When you wake up on your first day back, take 10 minutes to revisit somewhere you sat while on holiday, visualising the sensations, intentions and smells.' Do this every morning and you'll learn to tap into that peaceful vacation mindset, and your feel-good factor will last longer.
