The perfect excuse to book a massage

Just saying:  Friday (16th May) is National Massage Day. (Click on its Facebook page here.) It's intended to raise awareness about the positive effects of touch and massage, and has been launched by Gill Tree of Essentials for Health, who was responsible for introducing programmes such as Positive Touch within the NHS.

We truly don't need convincing (it's an essential element of our personal 'positive health' regimes) - but if you've never had a massage before, is there any better excuse?

If you don't know a masseur near you, we suggest you visit, the UK's top treatment-finder website, who can definitely point you in the direction of someone good, near you.

And all we can say is: then simply lie back, and think of... nothing.
