T LONDON Diffusers

T_LONDON_DIFFUSERS.jpg

Jo was given a selection of these by a generous friend recently. And they were the olfactory icing on the cake, as it were, after redecorating two rooms in her house (working on the basis that since we never go anywhere else, these days, a bit of decorative pimping is in order – especially after two decades, which is how long Jo’s lived in her home).

Created by a London-based home fragrance name, T LONDON’s creations are inspired by two things: tea (which has powered us through the past few months) and global travels (we write, very wistfully…). As the founder Jayne Kethro says, ‘Aroma is such an amazing thing. You can almost paint with it. It conjures memories and gives you space to escape to – to pause, reset and move on. We take all this into the mix to leave you feeling recharged and ready for the next adventure.’

We keep the faith that one day, real-life adventure will be on the agenda again. Meanwhile, we are closing our eyes and letting these diffusers transport us…

Darjeeling – Definitely Jo’s favourite, ‘Blended for positivity’, with uplifting and zesty notes of lemongrass, citrus and spiced nutmeg, layered over black tea. Very, very refreshing.

Dimbula – ‘Blended for equilbrium’, we’re told, and Jo has positioned this in a room where guests used to stay, but which is now where her yoga mat sits. Imagine cool cardamom, a twist of black pepper, coriander and cedarwood. Very grounding (and thus yoga-perfect, actually.)

Yerba Maté – uplifting and outdoorsy, designed to recreate ‘the wild solitude of the pampas’, with a ‘warm breeze enlivened with zesty petitgrain, a shot of mate, guaiac wood and vetiver.’ Very grassy-scented and oh, this SO makes us long for the great outdoors.

Tuyuku – the most cocooning and cosiest of the lot, swirling with incense, nutmeg, resins and amberwood, alongside a tea note.

Definitely enjoying our T-time treats.
