Scentered is the brainchild of Lara Morgan, a woman who is the very definition of ‘dynamo’. Having first created a brand which provided the luxurious bath and body treats you may have enjoyed in swanky hotels, this fab female founder originally launched Scentered – well, for herself, really. She’d been ‘living life at 100 miles an hour, with three young daughters and a work/life balance that would make the most resilient person cry.’
Lara’s mum – an aromatherapist – rode to her rescue, blending bath oils that helped her relax, sleep, focus and keep control. But, explains Lara, ‘I was frustrated with having to use the oils in a bath, when I was travelling so much – it just wasn’t practical. Then the oils leaked in my suitcase and I lost patience with them. I knew though, that aromatherapy could help me, I just needed to have them in an easy to use, portable format that I could keep with me for when I needed them.’
What people really needed, Lara felt, was a way to tap into the power of essential oils anywhere, anytime – and so Scentered’s aromatherapeutic balms were born, to reach for whenever you need to press reset.
