Guerlain Terracotta Jolies Jambes

And jolly ‘jolie’ we felt when we discovered this on our bathroom shelf, just in time to make our legs look pretty fabulous, pretty damned quickly. A little story – the moment when the sun shone brightly early one morning very recently and Sarah decided to wear A Frock. But beauty dilemma!! Legs looking white-ish, pink-ish, splodgy-ish - and, frankly my dears, not very appealing. Even without specs on a few blotches and blemishes were visible…

So – rush to beauty cupboard, seize the tube of Jolies Jambes, apply in a trice just like body lotion. Et voilà! Exactly as it says on the label – Flawless legs, with a soft tan that lasted all day and into the night. You can wash - well, scrub - it off but Jolies Jambes doesn't come off on clothes (or white chair covers as once happened…). Oh and it has a gentle subtle scent from tiaré flower.

Once again, Guerlain has come to the rescue on the bronzing front. And while we’re talking Guerlain, might we mention Terracotta Sunless Heavenly Bronzing Mist? A new gradual tan that we will probably be using all summer. You could – just a thought – spray it on before Jolies Jambes so the next day your pins are even more perfect… (Sarah tried this and it worked a treat.)
