Fab Find of the Week: NEOM Magnesium Body Butters

We’re devoted to magnesium. We take it orally, we bathe in magnesium salts, we slather it on our skins… But we’ll be trading up from our current magnesium body product to this lusciously glorious creation, from NEOM Organics.

Actually, there’s a choice of two butters, sitting in NEOM’s Perfect Night’s Sleep and Real Luxury ranges. Personally, we prefer the former, for its wonderfully rebalancing scent, with its heavy-on-the-lavender blend of 13 essential oils – but if you’re a fan of Real Luxury (think: notes of rosewood and jasmine, as well as lavender), you might want to go for that option.

The texture of this butter is just divine. It’s rich but not too unctuous in the tube (and doesn’t go hard in a cold bedroom, which ours are!) Incredibly nourishing, thanks to a blend of shea butter and olive oils. But most importantly, it’s not sticky or tacky – that’s a fairly common issue with magnesium products, which somehow, cleverly, NEOM have overcome here.

In their own tests, 85% of people who used the Perfect Night’s Sleep option got a better night’s sleep – and we echo that. It’s a great product to slather on, last thing at night (don’t forget your feet!), working like an incentive to moisturise skin when we might be feeling lazy, just knowing that it may help beckon those zzzzzzs.
