Fab Find of the Week: Jurlique Softening Rose Hand Lotion

We’ve been devotees of Aussie organic brand Jurlique’s wonderful hand creams for well over two decades. One Christmas we gave all our friends and family a tube of their Lavender Hand Cream as an extra present, simply because it was such a lovely natural product that did – and does – wonders to transform dry paws into velvety smooth and supple ones.

And golly, how we all need that right now, as our hands are washed and washed and washed again until they’re clean as a whistle and dry as the Sahara.

Then we became suckers for the Rose version as well (there’s also Citrus and Jasmine) and when Jo was in New Zealand last autumn she pounced on a generous-sized pump of Softening Rose Hand Lotion, which now lives on her desk in Hastings. ‘I was so thrilled to find a pump – always my favourite way to apply hand cream. One squirt is enough to do hands generously, and it’s never been more needed than now!

Meanwhile, down in west Dorset, Sarah’s stock of hand softeners is becoming depleted in the best possible cause, as she hands (oops..) them out to the amazing NHS nurses and carers looking after a very ill family member. And, not surprisingly, Jurlique Rose and Lavender Hand Creams are welcomed rapturously.

So this lush bumper-size pump of Jurlique Softening Rose Hand Lotion, which also features daisy, marshmallow root and pansy, together with beeswax and safflower oil, is a gorgeous and timely gift - whether it’s for you or someone else. It also comes in a Restoring version, zingy with lemon, plus mood-boosting geranium and clary sage; just saying...
