FitFlop Wonderwellies

Is FitFlop founder Marcia Kilgore psychic, to add to her long list of other attributes?

Because she sure saw this wettest autumn ever coming. A few weeks ago, Jo bought a pair of FitFlop Wonderwellies – and has barely taken them off. (Well, to go to bed, maybe.) They've got her through puddles, a muddy back garden, even muddier fields – and kept her feet warm and toasty in her shed, which isn't something you can ever say about normal wellies.

Cleverly (as ever), Marcia figured out everything that was wrong with wellies, and completely redesigned them.

Normal wellies are clunkingly heavy – so these are positively featherweight by comparison.

Normal wellies have absolutely zero arch support, so aren't comfortable for long walks – but these are wonderfully supportive and Jo has happily walked miles in hers. (Apparently there's a built-in 'springboard' which helps propel you forward.)

Normal wellies leave your feet like a couple of ice blocks. These keep them warm and toasty, even without socks. So now we can get in our health-giving walk on even the wettest of days.

They do come in many more 'sophisticated' styles and colours, but we also love that Marcia is enabing us to tap into our inner Paddington Bear with short red Wonderwellies.

Which (it goes without saying) are the ones Jo bought, pictured above. And which Marcia tells us she’s wearing herself…
