Chanel No.5 L’Eau On Hand Cream and All-Over Spray
Chanel’s hand cream ‘egg’ is back (see below) – and we suspect this isn’t the last we’ll see of this wonderfully portable packaging design, from Chanel.
Already a favourite hand cream (see our review of the existing version, in its shiny white livery, here), the new offering is a delectable – and delicate – way to soften hands beautifully while veiling skin in No.5 L’Eau, which is fresher, airier, more light-filled than the classic original (and a favourite fragrance of Jo’s since she wore it on a Big Birthday Weekend, a couple of years ago, when it first launched).
This isn’t the only new way to wallow in this lovely, summer-perfect scent, because alongside the hand cream (which, usefully, is a 50 ml, security-friendly size) there is No.5 L’Eau All-Over Spray. It’s a gorgeous, sleek white bottle, designed to be spritzed onto hair and body. And actually, we’ve found it a very long-lasting way to enjoy this incredibly pretty scent, somehow giving off little time-released ‘puffs’ during the day.
Great payday splurges, both of them. (If you can wait that long.)
