Beauty Bible Loves… Ruby Hammer Lip Serum Balm (new shades)

These Lip Serum Balms earned a place in our handbags from the moment make-up artist Ruby Hammer unveiled them: such an easy-peasy way to deliver a slick of nourishment and sheer colour (you could almost, ALMOST apply them in the dark!) The lip-loving ingredients include meadowfoam seed oil, Cannabis Sativa (hemp seed oil), cocoa butter and skin-smoothing licorice seed extract, so the texture is instantly comforting.

We raved about them at time of launch here – but the pleasing news is that there are two new and rather fab shades in the line-up, making eight in all (Ruby debuted with just three, which were her very first make-up launches in what is a very considered range).

The newbies? A fab Deep Nude which would honestly suit all skintones, along with Coral, which gives a sheer pop of colour – and will most definitely be coming along for the ride on our next holiday.

And Ruby’s tip? Dab onto cheeks, too. (The light, pearlised FX shade works as a highlighter, too – great for highlighting the inner corner of the eyes.)

Honestly as effortless as make-up gets.
